Samsung Galaxy Flip Z Bad Camera?

Shubham News

Galaxy Flip Z was hailed as the true foldable smartphone, which woed the world with its form factor and foldable display. The hardware itself was nothing to talk about, considering the price, but with a mediocre score of 105 from DxOMark. This puts the Flip Z just above Galaxy S9+ and Galaxy Note 9. Honestly, comparing it to the more conventional smartphone would be wrong as Samsung had to cut corners to be able to make foldable smartphone a bit more affordable.

Galaxy Flip Z DxOMark scores

DxOMark rating for the Galaxy Flip Z shows 2020 flagship with 2018 camera.

DxOMark praised the dynamic range, color rendering, noise reduction and wide angle photography while the device was criticized for low details, ringing artifacts, and slow autofocus. On the video front, fast focus was praised, vivid colors and stabilization helped increase the score. Contrary to photography, limited dynamic range and lower sharpness was the culprit in bogging down the video score.
